“Teach Solais Fhánada has introduced a new initiative to eliminate single-use cup waste by no longer offering take-away coffee in such cups.
Instead, customers can buy reusable Fanad Lighthouse keep-cups for €3, which they can get refunded when returned.
These cups are the perfect size for travel and are compatible with any self-service coffee station.
We’re also inviting other local businesses to join us in a cup swapping system.
This move reflects our dedication to preserving Fanad’s natural beauty, a beloved tourism spot.”
